Andrés H. Sandoval focuses his practice on asset recovery, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and financial fraud litigation.
Sandoval routinely represents clients in both foreign and domestic judgment recognition and enforcement matters, actions under 28 U.S.C. § 1782 to collect evidence for use in foreign proceedings, cross-border insolvency proceedings under Chapter 15 of the United States Bankruptcy Code, fraudulent avoidance actions, and other commercial disputes.
Multilingual, Sandoval provides assistance to Astigarraga Davis’ diverse client base. Born in Venezuela, he has native proficiency in Spanish. In addition, he is fluent in Italian and conversant in Portuguese.
Sandoval received his J.D. from the University of Florida and his B.A., in Political Science, from Florida International University. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern to Bankruptcy Judge Robert A. Mark. He also competed in the Willem C. Vis Arbitration Moot and was awarded the Martin Domke Award for Best Individual Oralist, distinguishing him as one of the top oral advocates among the 1500+ competitors from nearly 300 law schools.
Sandoval is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, the United States District Courts of the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
